than just theatre. For example, there are degrees in broadcasting as well as in music. But first, you’ve got to find the best schools to send your application.

Some of the top programs in the United States are also affordable online schools. Online education is your very first step toward obtaining a degree in performing arts—performing arts as diverse as magic to circus work, to acrobatics. Online education for performing arts can sometimes entail venturing to a local campus to gain the practical experience of your field of study. Other programs, including those of the music programs, offer online courses dealing with theory and history of music and do not involve immediate classroom participation.

Finding the right school is imperative to your academic success. Unfortunately not all schools offer each program, as performing arts is an ever-expanding list. However, a little research should yield the best schools for your program of study and the online nature of these classes means you can take them from anywhere. Do not settle for a second-rate program as you want to make sure the degree you get makes you employable.

Lastly, be sure to get all the details on what you get in return for your tuition. Research the program and degree to see if it’s enough to begin work in that field.

Many people enjoy writing stories. If you’re a great storyteller than you can pretty much write a script for a play. Once you’ve got an idea for a story, simply put those ideas into words. It seems that people find that writing a script for the play is a little bit easier than writing a novel, but both are just as challenging.

Finish the idea you’ve had in mind. You need a complete idea before you can start writing a script. This will make the script-writing phase a little bit easier on you. You’re going to need three items in your idea. There will have to be a beginning, middle and an end. Next you’re going to want to write down an idea for your characters and give them each a name.

You can get a few ideas on how the script should be formatted by browsing the Internet for some examples. They’re fairly easy to find online. Majority of the plays out there are going to follow the same formula. You can also get a few ideas on the setting and location of your play. If it’s a classic play, traveling back in time, a luxury hotel Chicago style could be the perfect setting.

For most plays there are two acts with an intermission separating the two acts. There are some plays, however, that have more than two acts. For example, Shakespeare’s plays had five acts.

Each act is usually a scene between your characters. Each scene is normally a different setting and even a different time. If you’re really new to writing scripts for the theatre, it’s best to split your store into two acts that are about an hour long and divide those into about five to eight scenes.

Write out your script. Just keep writing because you can always edit later. Once you’re done act it out to see how it sounds out loud. This is the best way to catch any mistakes or see what needs to be rewritten.

Lastly, finalize your script. Make sure you like how everything plays out as well as the order of the acts. If you’re completely satisfied with everything, go ahead and send out your scripts to a bunch of different agents and theatres and hopefully you’ll get a response.

Planning a first date can be a little bit overwhelming for some, especially since it could be the only chance to make an impression an individual may get. A successful first date can lead to spending more time together, and could even turn into a fun and rewarding relationship. Choosing a date that encourages communication is a great place to start; for example, watching a movie makes it difficult to talk and get to know each other. There are many fun activities that help individuals enjoy one another’s company without having to spend a lot of money.

First, the planner should decide just how much money he or she is comfortable spending. This could put a limit on options, but many activities are inexpensive. A great way to make a meaningful impression is to find out any interests or hobbies that the other person enjoys, which is sure to make it more fun for him or her. Creativity is always appreciated, and many physical activities allow couples to loosen up and try something new together, which allows for bonding. Some examples include bowling, laser tag, dancing, miniature golf, ice skating, or hiking. A little friendly competition or wagering can be a fun way to add some thrill to the date, but being too competitive may put a damper on the evening. If a more physical activity is selected, be sure to tell the date to wear clothes that will allow the activity to be done comfortably; if she shows up in tight jeans or very high heels, she may have some trouble swinging a golf club or running around a laser tag course.

Dating a new person may start out feeling a bit awkward, but staying aware of the body language of the other person can help. If he or she seems upset, it is important to broach the subject carefully or ask if they would prefer to do something else.

Before you can attend the performing arts school of your choice, you’re going to have to audition for a spot in the school. Paying for any school is expensive and many people are unable to afford college without a little bit of help whether it’s from loans or scholarships. Many people opt to go the scholarship route first in hopes of avoiding any high-interest student loans.

If you’re great with competition and won’t buckle under pressure than you could compete to earn a scholarship. Everyone will need to prepare a monologue that’s polish and can be recited at any moment.  Make sure it’s a routine that’s going to let you shine and show them why they should accept you into the school on a scholarship.

Don’t be like everyone else. Prove that you can be diverse and create a monologue that combines multiple genres. Research what was used in the past due to its popularity and avoid doing that type of routine or monologue. Being different will help you stand out above the rest.

Try and look at other performing arts school other than where you applied. Majority of other schools will offer scholarships for students specifically looking to get into performing arts. Many schools will even offer an independent scholarship to students looking to attend a college for performing arts.

Each application process is going to be in detail and specific. Make sure you follow everything to a tee to avoid losing out on the school of your choice since you left something out. Do what ever you have to do to make the committee be satisfied so you can have a great shot at attending the performing arts school on a great scholarship.

Trying hard to lose weight? Or maybe just trying to maintain a healthy regime of exercise?  Dancing is a novel and innovative way to keep fit, and also, more importantly, to enjoy oneself. Dancing has many health benefits.

Studies have shown that dancing, while being a great way to lose those extra pounds and keep that tummy in check, dancing is also great for relieving stress, increasing one’s energy levels and endurance, and  improving on one’s strength and flexibility. It is also an excellent way to tone up those muscles and improve coordination.

It doesn’t really matter what style of dance you prefer– whether it be ballet, hip hop, jazz, or ballroom, the benefits are all desirable and worth the work.  Dancing is one of the most unique forms of exercise, for it provides all the benefits of a full aerobic workout, but it also works and tones muscles, making them long, lean, and beautiful, rather than short and stocky. It reduces the chances of coronary disease and lowers blood pressure. The benefits are not only for the body though, as dance is an art form and is especially stimulating to the mind. A study that had been published in the New England Journal of Medicine has shown that dancing reduces the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Dancers also claim that dancing is a great way to brighten up one’s day and help keep depression at bay, and scientific research has concurred.  Actually, this is not surprising, since dancing, specifically with a partner and to music, has been shown in scientific studies to decrease the levels of stress hormones.  This was especially true, for some reason, when partners danced the tango!

Dancing is a great workout and helps you utilize muscles that you never even knew you had,  especially in the entirety of the legs, stomach, back, and sometimes arms. Health benefits aside, dancing is also a great way to meet new people and make new friends. So don’t waste your time and money on those fruitless gym memberships that you never really use. Use that next payday loan to sign up for a dance class, and then dance your way to health and happiness.  A payday loan is nothing but a small arrangement with a money-lender, which entitles you a certain amount of money as a loan, until your next paycheck arrives.  By then, you will be well on your way to being a dancer.
